Good morning. One agreement, one closing.
WSP agrees to buy GCM Corpo
WSP has agreed to acquire GCM Corpo, a Canadian engineering and specialist-services group serving energy and industrial clients. GCM has about 600 professionals across Quebec, Western Canada and Atlantic Canada.
WSP says the purchase would add process-engineering, industrial-digitalization and operational-technology cybersecurity capabilities. Part of the consideration would be WSP shares; the total price and cash/equity split weren’t disclosed. Closing is expected in Q4 2026, subject to conditions including regulatory approval.
Hypercharge brings REVS deal to closing
North Vancouver’s Hypercharge reported completion of its previously announced purchase of all equity interests in REVS Charging. REVS supplies Level 2 charging solutions to multifamily, condominium, hospitality and commercial properties across the United States.
Hypercharge issued 18 million common shares in connection with closing. That’s a share count, not a dollar purchase price. This is the closing update to an existing deal, rather than another acquisition announcement.
