Norea’s March 10, 2026 announcement says it became Metalunic’s majority shareholder, while three management-team members became minority shareholders. The Quebec manufacturer makes metal siding and roofing.
President Nicholas Nickoletopoulos described an ambition to double revenue within five years. That was a goal, not an achieved result.
In a public post, Philippe Froundjian said CIBC advised Metalunic on the sale. Nickoletopoulos congratulated CIBC on closing in a comment. Neither supplies an exact closing day.
The announcement does not detail the managers’ percentages, funding or decision rights.
For a selling owner, separate three questions: what work will managers do, what shares will they own, and how will decisions be made?
Make a separate record for each manager: proposed role, shareholding and decision arrangements. Beside each entry, note the supporting answer or mark it unanswered. Take those gaps into the next discussion.
